This page contains my resume, some recently created cover letters and my personal reflection for my graduate program. Please take a moment to also take a look at the video below. It was produced recently by McGraw Hill Wright Group to celebrate Denver’s success as a mathematics team when we won the Everyday Mathematics Outstanding Achievement Award.

resumepic.jpg I am including my resume in several formats. Please select the file format that best suits your needs. For most, .pdf or .doc will work just fine. In some circumstances human resources departments need the .txt format.

ltrpic.jpg I have decided to include some of my recent cover letters on my Curriculum Vitae page. These letters of interest were written for a variety of purposes and highlight different aspects of my professional work. The first was included with my successful application to the Ritchie program for school leaders at the Morgridge College of Education at the University of Denver. The second was written to secure a position as a lecturer for the Denver Public Schools English Language Acquisition classes at the University of Colorado at Denver. I was asked to co-instruct in the Fall 0f 2007. The third letter was written as the cover letter for the position I currently hold as an Instructional Specialist for elementary math and science.

This is my personal reflection statement. It was written as a culmination of my work over the past few year’s to receive my Masters Degree in Instruction and Learning Technology. The program has been instrumental in framing and reshaping my professional work and personal beliefs about education. I look forward to maintaining a connection to my colleagues and mentors and am sure that our paths will cross.

I have also included a link to a matrix that illustrates how each of my portfolio project met the specific ILT competencies.

This video was created to celebrate Denver’s Everyday Mathematics Outstanding Achievement Award in 2008. I was interviewed as part of the process and appreciate the powerful story that was created about our success here. We were fortunate enough to attend the “premiere” in Salt Lake City during the NCTM national conference. Click the logo to view the video.
